Before you walk into my life

Before you walk into my life, you need to know something about me. You need to know that I'm a very insecure person and I get too emotional at times. I am everything but perfect. I have difficulty trusting people because of how I've been treated in the past.

I tend to overthink and that's because I care. I care too much because I don't wanna lose the people that mean so much to me. I cry over the simplest of things but that's because I genuinely appreciate even the slightest bit of effort. What I'm trying to say is I carry this baggage within me and I just want you to understand that there will be times that it'll be very difficult to stick with me.

But God I hope that you stay because I'm the kind of person who will remain honest, loyal, and faithful no matter what happens. Loving you with all my heart is my way of saying thank you for sticking with me despite how hard it may be.
