Unfortunately, love doesn’t always give you the happy ending that you wanted in the end.
Sometimes, you could be madly in love with someone and still know in your heart that, that person could never give you the kind of affection and effort you know you deserve. One of the hardest things to accept in life is knowing that sometimes you were only meant to make the other person better for the next person. It doesn’t mean that something was necessarily wrong with you in particular, it just means that they didn’t have the tools to help maintain a healthy and happy relationship with you like you had wanted. You might have had every intention to stay with this person forever, you may even had plans in the future with them, and you probably thought that you’ve found the love of your life, but you have to understand that sometimes that is the only reason why you cross paths with certain people. You and that person were meant to be together yes, but you weren’t meant to stay together because they were only meant to help you grow through pain and help you learn through experiences so that you’ll be ready for who you’re truly intended for in the end. While you’ve helped them get better, they’ve also helped you become a better person as well so just because a relationship ended with someone, doesn’t mean it was a waste of time. You have to be loved the wrong way by the wrong person first before you could appreciate being loved the right way by the right person and know the difference. Don’t worry, you’re almost there. You’re almost ready.
